How do I show the results of a previous vote or compare the results from more than one vote?

Reshow slides are used to show data from any question slide within the same presentation. More than one question can be shown on the slide.

A reshow slide takes data from an existing voting slide and displays the results of the vote later on in the presentation, it can also be used in the following ways

▪ To show the results of multiple questions on a slide.

▪ To show a question split by different groups on the same slide.

▪ A mixture of the two above.

To create a Reshow slide

From the Add-ins tab, select CLiKAPAD > New Slide Wizard > Reshow Slide > Go.

The New Slide Wizard will create a new slide in the Presentation for the Reshow.

Alternatively, you can add a Reshow to an existing PowerPoint slide by choosing ‘Slide Editor’ from the CLiKAPAD menu.

The main Reshow editor will now load.

To choose the questions to display, either:

▪ Click on a question on the left to highlight it then click the arrow button.

▪ Double click on a question on the left.

This will add the selected question to the Votes to reshow section.

If you are re-showing questions without Subgroup filtering you can now click Save & Go.

If you want to show a question split by demographic groups, add in the question the number of times you have groups you wish to show – e.g. If you have a male and female demographic group setup from a previous question, you would add the question in twice.

This will then show the question split by the different groups on the same slide.

To set the group you wish to filter by:

Click on the question in the Votes to reshow column and then click on the group in the Subgroups column – both will be highlighted to show your current selection.

▪ Click on the next question, then click on your next group, and repeat for all your questions.

▪ You are now finished and can click Save & Go.

AND or OR

The final option on reshow is the ability to create virtual groups by combining one or more grouping questions.

This can be achieved by selecting multiple groups in the subgroup column by clicking on the Subgroup to highlight them (if you make a mistake, click again to deselect) and then choosing either AND or OR.

AND – This means that people must be in ALL the groups that you have selected – e.g. Male AND Under 21. You cannot use this for groups on the same slide as you will get 0 results, as you cannot be Male AND Female.

OR – This means that people must be in any one of the groups you have selected – e.g. Under 21 OR Over 50.

If you use OR on different grouping questions, e.g. Male OR Under 21 – you would get ALL Males, no matter their age, and all people under 21 no matter their gender.

There are a couple more options to consider:

Label Graphs – If this is ticked, ppvote will automatically label the graphs on the slide for you.

Reshow begins when slide displayed – If this is ticked, ppvote will automatically start the reshow, if Auto Launch Votes is turned on, otherwise you need to press 'V'.

Save & Go – When you click Save & Go ppvote will place the graphs on the slide, ready for you to position them.
