When the vote is open PowerPoint is paused. Essentially your slide is just a background image and the voting software is the active application. For this reason you cannot run media or animations during a vote. Generally we recommend that people do not use animations on voting slides. However, if the animations are important for you, you can change the setting so that the voting activity is no longer launched automatically. Then once you have finished your animation sequence you can press the V key on your keyboard to start the vote. In the main CLiKAPAD menu you need to make sure Auto Launch Votes is unticked.
