Which features are only available in ppvote Professional?

Customers with a permanent ppvote Essential license can continue using their CLiKAPAD voting keypads without paying for any subscriptions. However, some features are only available to maintenance agreement subscribers.

With a maintenance agreement, ppvote users also have access to the features available in the Professional level. They also have access to remote voting via keypad.world.

The following features are available within ppvote Professional only and not ppvote Essential. If these features are required, contact sales@clikapad.com to discuss an upgrade.

VOTING

Auto display keypads that have not voted - During a vote you can press K to display which keypad numbers are yet to vote. Auto display makes the process even easier. You can set the software to show a selected number automatically. For example you could set it to display when there are 3 keypads left.

Auto close on % of respondents - Rather than clicking to close a vote, you can use this setting to close voting automatically when all votes (or a set % of votes) have been received.

Keypad weighting - Weightings can be applied to specific keypads. For example a larger shareholder may have a vote with a greater weighting. This weighting may be the same for all questions, or could vary by question. Weightings are sometimes used for a voter to cast proxy votes on behalf of someone else at the same time as casting their own vote.

Abstain - The zero key can be set to abstain from a vote. The abstain votes will be counted but will not impact on the percentage results. For example, if 10 people vote yes, 10 people vote no and 10 people abstain, the result would be 50% yes and 50% no.

Confirmation only display -

QUESTION CREATION

Import questions to PowerPoint - Voting slides can be created automatically by the software based on questions in a text file.

Quizzes

Named participants - Quiz winners slides can show the voter's name rather than a keypad number.

Weighted questions - Correct answers can be assigned different point values based on their difficulty level. For instance, a challenging question might be worth 3 points, while a simpler question could be valued at just 1 point.

Manually assign teams - To form teams, you can invite voters to self-select their team through a standard voting question. In the Professional version, you have the added flexibility to manually configure teams by selecting specific keypad numbers for inclusion in each team.

Demographics and Reshows - Voting results can be categorized by demographics, allowing for detailed analysis in both the Excel data export and the live graphs displayed during the presentation.

Assign groups by keypad number - A vote can be used to group the keypads by demographics. In Professional, demographics can also be defined by keypad number.

Reshow multiple different charts on one slide - A reshow slide allows you to display the voting results from questions asked in earlier slides. In the Professional version, you have the capability to present the results from multiple votes on a single slide, enhancing your ability to analyze and compare data effectively.

Vote Types

Sequence votes - A sequence vote enables participants to select several items from a provided list of options. For instance, they may be prompted to identify their top three choices from a selection of ten items.

Weighted sequence - In a weighted sequence vote, you can assign different values to each selected item. For instance, the first choice might carry a weight of 3, the second choice a weight of 2, and the third choice a weight of 1. This approach allows for a more nuanced ranking of preferences compared to a standard sequence vote.

Ratings votes - A ratings vote allows participants to evaluate multiple items displayed on a single slide using a consistent scale. The software then calculates and presents the average score for each item, facilitating straightforward comparisons of the results.

Data and Exporting

Merge data - Results from several voting sessions can be combined into a single comprehensive data set, as long as the same questions are utilized across each session.

Named keypads for results - The data export feature allows you to display voting results linked to participant names instead of keypad numbers, enhancing clarity and accountability in the reporting process.

Custom columns in exports - Custom columns allow you to incorporate extra details for each voter, going beyond just their names. This feature enhances the depth of your data exports, providing a clearer understanding of participant information.
