The SID (SOFT IDENTITY) of each keypad is the number that you see on the sticker on the back. If the sticker and the number the keypad behaves as don't match, the keypad can be programmed
.Attach the receiver (base station) to your computer and go open PowerPoint.
.Go to Add-Ins tab then open the CLiKAPAD menu > Set-up > Keypads. Your standard Keypad Set-Up pop-up window will appear
.On your keyboard press: CTRL+SHIFT+C (all together!) Then you will see extra options appear
.Click the Program Keypad button. You will then see the CLiKAPAD Advanced Settings pop-up window appear
.You need to make sure you select Base Station and fill out the No of Keypads you are programming and what number they need to start from. Click in the box next to the Keypad number then press any number on the Keypad. The serial number of the Keypad will then be filled out in the box and the box will turn orange.
.Once you have done this close the window. This will return you to the keypad set up window. Click the Test button and press a number button on the reprogrammed CLiKAPAD.
.You will see that the new number position now registers the vote from this CLiKAPAD
.Once you have tested your keypads you can close all the windows
