If the LED on a keypad circles and then shows a t (which means timeout), it's possible that the keypad has a session ID or channel number that does not match the receiver.
Hold down * on the keypad and with that held down type in 000 for the session and then your channel number as two digits.
If you do not know your channel number, you should start by setting your keypad to the default and then testing it. The default channel is 75 and the session number is always 000 (apart from the Presenter keypad, which must always be set to session 255).
You do not need to type in the keypad number. So let's say we want to put a keypad onto channel 75 - we would hold down * and press 00075.
If you do not know the channel number of your system and setting it to default values did not make it work, click here for information about how to check the receiver settings, or to find out the configuration by checking one of you keypads that is working, try the following.
On a keypad the is working well, press * and 0 at the same time. Let go of both buttons and make a note of the numbers that flash up. You may need to try a couple of times as it moves quite fast.
The keypad will flash up the session ID as three digits, then a -, then the keypad number as four digits, then a -, then finally the channel number as two digits.
Example: 000-0027-06, would be session 0, keypad 27, channel 6.
Your session should always be 000. The keypad number cannot be changed directly on the keypad. The channel number is 75 by default but can vary.
Once you know your channel number, follow the instructions at the beginning of this article again, using the correct channel number. Remember that you must enter the channel as two digits.
